Egypt’s GASC closes buy tender for up to 60,000 mt wheat: GASC

 Egypt’s main wheat buying agency GASC has tendered for 55,000-60,000 mt of soft and/or milling wheat for December 1-10 shipment, according to the agency.

The tender, which closed at 9:00 am GMT Thursday October 19, was issued October 18. Results are expected by 15:30 GMT Thursday.

Bids were invited on an FOB with the vice chairman of GASC indicating a preference for cargoes of US North Pacific soft white wheat, US soft red winter wheat or US hard wheat, and/ or Canadian soft wheat.
