French ministry estimates 10% rise in 2025 soft wheat sowing area to 4.5 mln ha

Agreste, the statistics unit of France’s agriculture ministry, has increased its estimate of the area sown with winter soft wheat by 10% year on year, to 4.57 million hectares, up from its previous estimate of 4.51 million ha in December 2024.
