India bows to poultry pressure, grants 200,000 tonne duty-free corn import

A minister in the Indian government has approved the import of as much as 200,000 tonnes of duty-free corn following a meeting with representatives of the poultry sector in the country’s Andhra Pradesh state, trade and media sources reported on Wednesday September 25.
