Kazakhstan wheat production to fall 5% as planted area cut back
Kazakhstan’s wheat production is set to fall 5.4% year-on-year to 14 million mt as farmers reduced planted area to the second-lowest level since 2004, the USDA’s local office in Astana said in an update published Friday.
