SALIC to take majority stake in Olam Agri for $1.78 bln, with options for 100% ownership

Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company (SALIC) has agreed to increase its ownership in Singapore-headquartered Olam Agri from 35.43% to 80.01% through a $1.78 billion acquisition, according to press releases from the respective companies on Monday February 24.
