SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Changes to Agricensus freight coverage

Following market consultation and as previously announced, Fastmarkets Agriculture (Agricensus) has made the following changes to freight market coverage with effect from August 1, 2023.

Fastmarkets Agriculture has discontinued the following assessments:

Freight Azov - E Greece $/mt

Freight Azov - E Italy $/mt

Freight Azov - W Italy $/mt

Fastmarkets Agriculture has added the following assessments:

Freight Ukraine Danube – Marmara $/mt

Fastmarkets Agriculture invited feedback from the industry on the pricing methodology for Global Freight, via an open consultation process between May 26 and June 23, 2020.

This consultation was done as part of our published annual methodology review process.

This consultation sought to ensure that our methodologies continue to reflect the physical market under indexation, in compliance with the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) principles for Price Reporting Agencies (PRAs).

This includes all elements of our pricing process, our price specifications and publication frequency.

No feedback was received during the consultation period and therefore Fastmarkets has implemented the changes proposed as part of the consultation.
