Turkey’s TMO tenders for 500k mt of wheat for September-October

Turkey’s state grain buyer has announced a tender for 500,000 mt of 12.5% and 13.5% protein wheat, for September 23 to October 16 shipment, market sources told Agricensus Monday.

Turkish Grain Board (TMO) is seeking three 30,000-mt parcels to Derince, Iskenderun and Mersin ports.

It is looking for two 30,000-mt ships to Izmir, Tekirdag and Samsun ports and two parcels of 25,000 mt to Bandirma port.

The tender is set to close on September 15.

At its last tender on August 26, TMO bought 390,000 mt of milling wheat for September 4-20 shipment at an average price of $221.60/mt CFR and 110,000 mt of durum for September 15-October 10 shipments at an average price of $326.33/mt CFR.
