US farmer sentiment still optimistic in January despite trade uncertainty

Sentiment among US farmers improved in January 2025 with agricultural producers retaining their optimism after the country’s presidential election last November, and with the main driver being confidence in current conditions, the Purdue University/CME Group Ag Economy Barometer survey showed on Tuesday February 4.
