US soybean sales for 2024/25 surpass estimates at 1.6 mln tonnes, exports fall 2%

US weekly soybean net sales for the 2024/25 crop year rose by 24.6% to 1.67 million tonnes in the week to August 15, above the 1.34 million tonnes reported last week, and higher than market estimates, the US Department of Agriculture reported on Thursday August 22.
