US soybean sales up 162% to 1.49 mln tonnes, exports down 30%

Net sales of US soybean rose to 1.49 million tonnes during the week ended January 16, up by 162% from 569,100 tonnes a week earlier, and within market estimates, US Department of Agriculture (USDA) data showed on Friday January 24.
