US weekly ethanol production up; stocks drop to 23.35 mln barrels

US weekly ethanol production increased by 5,000 barrels per day to 1.072 million bpd in the week ended August 9, according to data published by the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) on Wednesday August 14.
