USDA cut in Brazilian soybean crop forecast smaller than market expectations: WASDE

The USDA cut its forecast for Brazil’s old crop soybean crop, but not by the extent that market participants anticipated, and it pegged global and US ending stocks for 2023/24 above expectations, according to its World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates (WASDE) report on Wednesday June 12.
