China’s May corn imports hit one-year low on waning buying pace: customs

China’s corn imports in May fell by a further 11% from April to 1.05 million tonnes, figures from the country’s General Administration of Customs (GACC) released Tuesday June 18 showed, with the level the lowest seen since April 2023 when imports were 1 million tonnes.
